Happy update!

So the womyn who confronted her flasher on a subway car? She succeeded in getting the guy arrested!

Sometimes, there is some justice in this world.

16 year old New Yorker addresses her city council on street harassment

It's a pretty amazing feat for anyone to do. Kudos to her and her teacher for speaking out on this.

Fighting back against harassment on the subway

A womyn in a subway spotted a guy trying to flash her. She wasn't having it and made a giant scene, drawing attention to him. It's pretty remarkable and a real testament to how powerful shaming can be.

People who do this want a reaction; so she gave him one!

The video is NSFW only because of her loud cursing. You don't see anything. You just watch a womyn fight back for 50 seconds.

(Might be slightly triggering).

Grand Creeper - Sunday, November 7th @ 2pm

"My friend and I were out for lunch at the Grand Pizzeria on George street, in the Market, when we looked over and saw that this guy was leaning up against the post of the patio and staring at us. We didn't realize how long he'd been there, but once we noticed, he was there for at least 5 minutes. We didn't want to believe that the guy was just creeping on us that whole time, but we were right in the window and there was nobody sitting in that section of the restaurant.

Just as we were about to say something to the wait staff, we looked over and the police were telling him to move along. I snapped this picture of the whole thing right before he left."

Jerk on Preston Street

A womyn's experience on October 28th @ 5:30pm on Preston Street

"I get harassed on an almost daily basis.  I truly have to consider my wardrobe when going out because men approch me even if I'm completely covered.  I went to Preston Hardware last week to get some keys cut and while walking to the store this man leaning against the building approched me in a polite manner at first so I stopped briefly, 'I don't mean to be rude,' he told me, 'but you've got great legs' he emphasized while looking me up and down like a piece of meat.  I felt completely uncomfortable and turned to walk quickly away even though he was still talking.

He was scruffy looking, white, in his late 30s to early 40s in a ballcap and green spring coat, about 5'7.  I was nervous to go back out."
